Nicki Macklin

Nicki has the world's first PhD in Organisational Kindness, and is a researcher at the University of Auckland’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Her research approach reflects her professional background as a healthcare professional with quality improvement and leadership experience, and her personal background as a patient and family representative for various boards and foundations. She is an associate editor for the British Medical Journal Leader, supporting the kindness and human connection research priority stream. Nicki enjoys speaking, running workshops and consulting on professionalism and organisational culture for health, insurance and law organisations.
