Megan Mahon

Megan holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and was admitted as a solicitor in Queensland in 1996, after completing five years as an articled clerk. Since that time, Megan’s career in private practice over several decades included serving as President of the Queensland Law Society and as an Executive Director of the Law Council of Australia. Commissioner Mahon is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and recognition of her distinguished career includes numerous accolades, such as the 2009 Woman Lawyer of the Year and the 2017 Queensland Law Society President’s Medal.
