Anthony Keane

Commissioner Keane is an experienced and well-regarded practitioner having worked in the legal profession for more than 20 years both in private and public practice and as solicitor and as counsel. Commissioner Keane practised across a wide range of practice areas particularly in civil, employment and administrative law and appeared in most South Australian courts and tribunals as well as the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia, and the High Court of Australia.

As LPCC, Commissioner Keane has a particular interest in reviewing and modernising his office’s regulatory posture, in assessing the tools available for good regulation and, where necessary, developing (or borrowing) new ones.
